Abstract (en)
The present invention is concerned with a mattress assembly (10) which comprises an inflatable core comprising an impermeable envelope (20) having a resiliently deformable body (14) within the envelope (20), a network of bores within the body and open to the exterior of the body, and a valve permitting airflow into or out of the network of bores, in order to adjust the level of immersion experienced when a user lies on the mattress assembly.
