[origin: EP2030549A2] The cleaner has an upper body with dust collector, and a base unit (2) that is movable on a surface to be cleaned by a chassis, where a tilting hinge is placed between the upper body and the base unit. The upper body and the base unit are pivotable through the tilting hinge around an axis that is horizontal during use. Covers (54, 55) cover a gap within an area of a tilting joint between the body and the base unit, where adjustable screens (56, 57) are assigned to the covers. A plate (31) with LEDs (32) is fastened to a housing insert (5) for lighting the chassis.
