Eine Kraftstoffzusammensetzung, die mindestens 75 Vol.-% C4- bis C14-Isoalkane enthält, ist so zusammengesetzt, dass bei der Bestimmung des Destillationsverlaufes nach DIN EN ISO 3405 mindestens 25 vol.-% der Kraftstoffzusammensetzung bei Temperaturen (T) oberhalb von 110°C verdampfen. Dadurch kann das Betriebsverhalten eines mit diesem Kraftstoff betriebenen Verbrennungsmotors verbessert werden.
