Procédé et installation de crépage et de coupe, se composant d'un docteur de crépage (1) qui porte une lame (2) qui effectue le crépage; une plaque-support (12) qui peut pivoter sur un axe de pivotement (5) au centre géométrique duquel agit la lame de crépage (2); des premiers moyens d'actionnement (3) qui, partagés par la plaque-support (12) sont à l'origine de la rotation du docteur de crépage (1) sur un axe de pivotement (4) ; et des seconds moyens d'actionnement de variation d'angle (6) qui agissent sur la plaque-support (12) et sont à l'origine de sa rotation sur l'axe de pivotement (5), de sorte qu'avec deux docteurs (11, (7) seulement, on peut faire les manoeuvres de crépage, de changement de lame et de nettoyage. Applicable aux machines pour la fabrication de papier.
