[origin: EP2031156A2] The mechanism (10) has a collar body (14) attached on a door leaf, where the body rotatably mounts a driving ring (22) that is detachably connected with a door handle and made from chromed die-cast zinc. The driving ring includes a sliding ramp at the ring circumference. The sliding ramp cooperates with a spring-loaded sliding body (24) made from a plastic material such that the sliding body is pre-stressed by rotating the driving ring from a resting position into a working position. The sliding body exerts a force that opposes rotation of the driver ring in the working position.
