[origin: WO2007147460A1] A stop means, in particular a round sling, having a core which serves to absorb load forces, a tube-like covering (1) which surrounds the former and a label, in order to provide a visually discernible display at least of such information, the details of which are defined by current standard stipulations, is characterized in that at least one part (11) of the label is arranged with a variable position in such a way that, by application of an actuating force, it can be moved out of a protected rest position within the covering (1), counter to a restoring force, out of the covering (1) into a reading position, and in that there is a restoring means which generates the restoring force in such a way that the part (11) which is situated in the reading position is guided back into the rest position automatically in the absence of the actuating force.
