[origin: WO2007140774A1] Specified is a cartridge valve for a radiator, in particular for a sectional radiator, having a valve seat arrangement (7), a valve element (8) which interacts with said valve seat arrangement (7), a presetting device and a housing (2, 3), wherein the housing (2, 3) has a lateral first opening (4) which is connected to a side, which faces away from the valve element (8), of the valve seat arrangement (7), and a second opening (16) which is connected by means of an annular space (15), which partially surrounds the valve seat (7), to a side, which faces toward the valve element (8), of the valve seat arrangement (7). In a valve of said type, it is desired to allow a capacity for presetting in the installed state. For this purpose, it is provided that the presetting device has an adjusting element (17) which is adjustable in the housing (2, 3), which adjusting element (17) covers the annular space (15) with an adjustable degree of coverage.
