[origin: WO2007143767A1] Cable connection clamp with a pin-shaped or socket-shaped contact part (1) with a cable entry opening (2) for an electrical cable (5), and with a clamp opening (3) extending at angle to it, intersecting the opening, and with a moveable clamp element (4) inside it, which can optionally be moved into a clamping position in which the electrical cable (5) is clamped in the cable entry opening (2), and into a release position in which the electrical cable (5) is displaceable in the cable entry opening (2). According to the invention an activation element (6) for the clamp element (4) is provided, which can be locked in the clamping position and/or the release position of the clamp element (4).
