[origin: EP2033536A2] The device has a retaining bracket (3) or a retaining strip inserted in an area of a folding edge of an object e.g. purse, to be secured, where length of the bracket corresponds to or is slightly larger than height of the purse and/or the folding edge of the purse. The bracket has a retaining clip (4), an U-shaped retaining unit, a folding spring clip, a helical binding clip at its both ends. The connecting unit is firmly or removably attached in the form of a chain (2) at one of the retaining clip, retaining unit, folding spring clip or helical binding clip.
