[origin: EP2033712A1] The pipette (1) has a syringe griping lever with a release lever protruding inwards at actuating arms. A release slider is displaceable from a stand-by position outside a movement region of actuation member (35) into a release position inside the movement region of the actuation member such that the slider is slidable through the actuation of the actuation member along a guide fixed to a housing to actuate the release lever. A displaceable unit is provided to displace the release slider from the stand-by position to the release position and from the release position to the stand-by position.
