Ink chamber comprises a sealing material (33a, 33b) arranged in front side screens (2a, 2b) opposite front side edges (31a, 31b) of a doctor blade metal sheets (3a, 3b). The sealing material is pressed in the direction of a front side edge of one doctor blade sheets and placed on the front side edge. Preferred Features: A device (21a, 21b, 22a, 22b) is arranged in a front side screen to impinge the sealing material with force/pressure to displace and/or deform on the front side edge of a doctor blade sheet.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Farbkammer mit zwei kurzen gegenüberliegenden Stirnseitenschilden (2a, 2b) und zwei langen gegenüberliegenden Seitenelementen 3c, 3d) , wobei an den Seitenelementen (3c, 3d) insbesondere mittels einer Rakelleiste jeweils ein Rakelblech (3a, 3b) angeordnet ist, bei der in den Stirnseitenschilden (2a, 2b) gegenüber den stirnseitigen Kanten (31 a, 31 b) der Rakelbleche (3a, 3b) ein Dichtmaterial (33a, 33b) angeordnet ist, welches in Richtung einer stirnseitigen Kante (31 a, 31 b) eines Rakelbleches (3a, 3b) aus einem Stirnseitenschild (2a, 2b) herausdrückbar und an die stirnseitige Kante (31a, 31b) anlegbar ist.
