Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2034064A1] The needle bed (6) has multiple knitting pattern sections (1) adjacent to each other over its length, which overlap a front, longitudinally running face of the needle bed. The knitting pattern sections are provided with opening (13) for a passage of the needles (2). A lateral boundary (11) of the openings overextends to a function of knitting pattern, and a lower boundary (12) of the openings overextends to a function of a stop angle for the formed knitting.
