Designed as a torque motor, a generator (12) for rotational vibration can shift a roller (2) into rotational vibrations with a frequency of between 150 and 3000 Hz, especially between 200 and 2000 Hz. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Walzenanordnung (1), die mindestens eine Walze (2) und ein Gegendruckelement (3) aufweist. Um das Glättergebnis beim Behandeln einer Materialbahn (5) zu verbessern, ist die Walze (2) durch einen Rotationsschwingungsgenerator (12) in Rotationsschwingungen mit einer Frequenz von 150 bis 3000 Hz, insbesondere von 200 bis 2000 Hz, versetzbar.
