[origin: WO2007147569A1] An environmentally friendly disinfestation method by means of residual oxygen contents between 3% and 7%, and keeping the enclosed space at a temperature comprised between 38°C and 48°C for a period of time comprised between 20 and 48 hours. Disinfestation is performed by means of an apparatus provided with a device for reducing the percentage of oxygen in the enclosed space to be treated, and an inflatable seal device for conveying the mixture of gas inside the enclosed space adapted to be applied to an opening of the enclosed space so as to isolate it.
