The method for packaging tyres and device are characterized in that the smaller diameter tyre (25) being compressed predominantly in one plane being perpendicular to the diameter thereof and being arranged at an angle to the plane of the larger diameter tyre (24) followed by a controllable feeding of the smaller diameter tyre (25) into the interior space of the larger diameter tire (24) with synchronous change in the trajectory of motion.
