[origin: WO2007147426A1] A yarn spool production method on a yarn processing machine (1) is disclosed, comprising the following method steps: unspooling at least one filament yarn (5) from a feed spool (4), previously mounted on a feed spool tube holder (3) on the yarn processing machine (1), producing an effect yarn (7), by means of a yarn processing unit (6) on the yarn processing machine (1), from the filament yarn (7) and production of a yarn spool by spooling the effect yarn (7) on a take-up spool (2) on a take-up spool holder (9) on the yarn processing machine (1), with taking up being carried out on a dyeing spool with cross-winding as take-up spool (2).
