Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007147468A1] The invention relates to a two-for-one twisting spindle having a pneumatically actuated threading device for a thread, comprising a spindle shaft (2) which can be rotated about its vertical rotational axis (15) and which is partially configured as a hollow shaft and has a feed bore (24) in its lower portion that is coaxial to the rotational axis (15). The spindle also comprises an injector element (16) which leads to a thread guide ring (7) and which can be temporarily connected to a compressed air source (20) during threading via a compressed air feed, a part of the compressed air feed to the injector element (16) being formed by the feed bore (24). The compressed air feed comprises a connecting element (27) having an air channel (26), which during compressed air feed is positioned before the feed bore (24) and after the injector element (16) and which is configured as a separate component. The two-for one twisting spindle according to the invention can be used in twisting machines.
