[origin: WO2008001103A1] A Stirling engine assembly comprising a pair of Stirling engines (1) each having a head (3). The engines are mounted with their heads adjacent to one another and such that the vibrations of one substantially counteract the vibrations of the other. A heat source assembly (7) surrounds the heads, wherein the heat source assembly has a segmented configuration arranged to be removably assembled around the engines.
