[origin: WO2007134848A2] The invention relates to a hair-care appliance with at least one ionization device (17) for air-ionizing purposes. A high-voltage source (11) and at least one electric conductor (15) are provided for this purpose, the electric conductor connecting the at least one ionization device (17) to the high-voltage source (11). The free end of the conductor (15) is designed as an ionization electrode (12), which has at least one pointed region (18).
