[origin: WO2008000009A1] For the operation of a test centre consisting of a series of test floors each with a number of test beds, a plurality of data, resources, people, sequences etc. need to be managed. The optimum operation of a test centre with as little unproductivity as possible can only be achieved when all of this information is networked and optimum structures for the operation and management of the test centre are created. To this end, a testing order is split into an order model and an execution model, different information being stored in both models. Combining an order model with an execution model and the data and processes related thereto can enable a test execution plan to be easily generated and the development of the testing task to be controlled and monitored according to the test execution plan.
