[origin: EP2039640A2] The device has a printing unit comprising a form cylinder (4), and a folder unit (14) comprising a transport cylinder. A punching device is provided for producing recesses in a web (2) i.e. paper web, or in a continuous strip or in a web strip and is arranged on a web path between the printing unit and the transport cylinder, where the continuous strip is longitudinally sectioned from the web. The transport cylinder is designed as a collecting cylinder, and a handle device is provided in the folder unit. A strand stapler is provided for connecting layers comprising the recesses. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for producing a printed product from a web (2) a printed product of a printing machine.
