Abstract (en)
Process for increasing the service life of a process solution for chemical-reductive metal deposition involves monitoring the pH of the process solution, feeding a part of the process solution through a weakly acidic cation exchanger, feeding the solution from the cation exchanger back to the process solution, monitoring the functionality of the cation exchanger, and charging the cation exchanger for renewed use. Process for increasing the service life of a process solution for chemical-reductive metal deposition involves monitoring the pH of the process solution, feeding a part of the process solution, optionally after diluting, through a weakly acidic cation exchanger by decreasing the pH of the solution, feeding the solution from the cation exchanger back to the process solution, monitoring the functionality of the cation exchanger in the run-off of the cation exchanger, and charging the cation exchanger for renewed use with ions of a coating metal on approaching the pH in the run-off of the cation exchanger. An independent claim is also included for a device for carrying out the above process.
