[origin: EP2040011A2] The device has an air-water heat exchanger (1) provided at an outer side of a chimney insert of the device for heating ambient air. The heat exchanger is bent around a middle axis (M) in a semi-circle shape and is designed in L-shaped or U-shaped. A pump is provided in the air-water-heat exchanger. The heat-exchanger has pipes (2), which are parallel to each other. The pump circulates water heated by the heat exchanger. The heat-exchanger takes up a part of the heat delivered from the heating device. Supply and drain pipes (3, 4) are arranged at ends of the pipes.
