A hot air blower or heat gun has at least one impeller wheel and at least one electrical heating device, an din which the hot air blower (1) is provided for working in conjunction with a coding unit provided with a coding and joined to the blower (1). In the hot air blower (1), the heating capacity and/or the hot air temperature of the heating device is set on dependence of the given coding. An independent claim is included for a system with a hot air blower.

Diese Erfindung betrifft ein Heißluftgebläse mit mindestens einem Lüfterrad und mindestens einer elektrischen Heizeinrichtung, wobei dass das Heißluftgebläse (1) zum Zusammenwirken mit einer mit einer Kodierung versehenen, lösbar mit dem Heißluftgebläse (1) verbindbaren Kodiereinheit (11) ausgebildet ist, die in dem Heißluftgebläse (1) die Heizleistung und/oder der Heißlufttemperatur der Heizeinrichtung (4) in Abhängigkeit der Kodierung vorgebend ausgebildet ist.
