[origin: WO2008003449A1] A rotary drive for swivel-mounted doors, in particular vehicle doors, with a rotatably mounted spindle (18) with two opposing, flat threads (62, 64), a cylinder (10) that concentrically surrounds the spindle (18) and that contains a piston (52) that can be moved within the cylinder and that is torque-proof, an opening in the axis line of the piston (52) through which the spindle (18) passes, and at least two rollers (58, 60) that are rotatably mounted in the piston (52) on either side of the spindle and that roll on both opposing flat threads (62, 64) when the piston (52) is moved.
