[origin: WO2008009603A1] The invention relates to an electrical switching device having a displaceable contact piece (5). The displaceable contact piece (5) is mounted on an encapsulated housing (1). The displaceable contact piece (5) extends within and outside of the encapsulated housing (1). The displaceable contact piece (5) is sealed gas-proof in relation to the encapsulated housing (1). For forming a gas-proof transition, first and second sealing elements (12, 13) are provided, which, as axial sealing elements, are alternately pressed against the encapsulated housing (1) by peripheral collars (12, 13) of the displaceable contact piece (5). According to the invention, a third sealing element (11) is provided, which seals the displaceable contact piece (5) in a radial direction.
