Abstract (en)

[origin: CA2657505A1] The invention relates to a fuel cell system (10) comprising a reformer (1 2) with a burner unit (48) for converting fuel with oxidant in an exothermic oxidation reaction in order to form a product gas, which can be mixed with additional fuel downstream of the burner unit (48), wherein the resultant ga s mixture can be converted in the reformer (12) to give reformate; a fuel ce ll stack (26), to which the reformate can be supplied; and a reheater (36), to which substances which have been converted in the fuel cell stack (26) ca n be supplied, with a burner unit (54) for converting fuel with oxidant in a n exothermic oxidation reaction. The invention provides that the burner unit (48) of the reformer (12) has the same construction as the burner unit (54) of the reheater (36). Furthermore, the invention relates to a motor vehicle with such a fuel cell system (10).
