Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2042459A1] The device (40) has a conveying system (41) for conveying postal items (P) towards a stacker (42) in which the items are stacked one behind the other on a narrow surface along a certain longitudinal direction. A deflector (53) is provided between the conveying system and the stacker. The deflector is oriented in a slanting manner with respect to the conveying system to move apart an upper edge of the items with respect to the direction.
