[origin: EP2042461A2] The core carrier (1) has a clamping ring (11) receiving cores (6), where the ring is in the form of a thick-walled hollow cylinder and is arranged on a winding shaft (3) for transferring torque to one of the cores. An external bearing surface of the ring is in the form of a circular cylinder. The ring is made from plastic and flexibly designed, such that an outer diameter of the ring is variable. A bushing (5) is provided between the winding shaft and the ring. Multiple recesses (21, 22, 23) are present in the ring, where the recesses are in the form of blind holes or slots.
