[origin: WO2008006127A1] The invention relates to a dummy (1) comprising a shield (3) and a teat (2). Said teat (2) comprises a shaft (4) that is adjacent to the shield (3) and solid in cross-section in the region that contacts the jaw or teeth bearing surface. The contour of the teat (2) starting from the shaft (4) is lobe-shaped, corresponding substantially to known hollow body dummies, and the shaft (4) with an essentially constant wall thickness extends substantially for the entire length of the teat (2). Teat elements (5) arranged on the shaft (4) at a distance from each other are provided in order to form the lobe-shaped contour.
