[origin: WO2008012052A1] The invention relates to a self-tapping drill screw (1) which can be screwed into a metal sheet (20) comprising a slotted head (2) and a threaded shank (3), a slightly tapered tapping part and a friction part (5, 8, 12) being slightly conical. The friction part comprises a radial shoulder designed as a hole and coaxially surrounding the conical part (7, 10, 13, 15, 17) and being attachable to the metal sheet (20), having a substantially larger diameter compared to the conical part and verging into the tapping part (14) via a rounded ring edge (14).
