[origin: WO2008011965A1] To provide a thermal exhaust cleaning device, comprising at least one combustion chamber and at least one regenerator, through which an untreated gas to be cleaned is fed to the combustion chamber, which device allows even large amounts of low-calorific liquid media to be burned, it is proposed that the exhaust cleaning device comprises at least one evaporation chamber, to which a carrier gas can be fed from the combustion chamber and in which a liquid medium fed to the evaporation chamber can be made to evaporate, wherein the evaporated liquid medium together with the carrier gas can be mixed in with the untreated gas before it passes the regenerator.
