[origin: CA2658899A1] The invention relates to a universal support vehicle (1, 101, 201) for as sisting with the complex tasks of a vehicle used for maintenance, bridge lay ing, engineering and/or minesweeping, and combinations thereof. Said support vehicle comprises a chassis (4) which can be used for all types of system s tructures (6) and is therefore modular, and is used at least to receive unde rcarriage components, the power modules (44) and at least one fuel system (4 5), the hydraulic units (47) and the respective system structures (6, 106, 2 06). The vehicle (1, 101, 201) also comprises a crew cell (3, 203) which is separate from the vehicle (1, 101, 201) and closed per se and comprises at l east one roof exit (33) and/or rear exit (34). The working appliances (61, 6 2, 63, 64, 161, 164, 165, 261, 262) arranged on or in the chassis can be fed by means of electrical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic interfaces (46) inside a nd outside the chassis (4).
