Said device comprises at least one display means (50) for displaying at least one characteristic point of the spectacle lens, at least one image capturing device (14, 16) that is designed and arranged such that image data of the at least one display means (50) and image data from at least parts of the spectacle lens (54, 56) and the spectacle frame (52) can be produced, and a data processing device that is designed to determine a position of the spectacle lens (54, 56) in relation to the spectacle frame (52), using the image data.
