Said device comprises at least two image capturing devices (14, 16) which are designed and arranged to produce comparison image data of at least part of the head of a wearer in the absence of the pair of glasses (38) and/or in the absence of at least one spectacle lens (50) and at least part of an auxiliary structure (53) and to produce image data of an essentially identical part of the head of a wearer with a pair glasses (38) and/or at least one spectacle lens (50) and at least the part of the auxiliary structure (53), a data processing device that is configured to determine, using the image data, the comparison image data and at least part of the auxiliary structure (53), the position of the glasses (38) and/or the at least one spectacle lens (50) in relation to the centre of the pupil of the corresponding eye of the wearer (30) in the zero line of sight, and a data output device that is designed to output the position of the pair of glasses (38) and/or at least one spectacle lens (50) in relation to the centre of the pupil of the corresponding eye of the wearer (30) in the zero line of sight.
