[origin: WO2008015032A1] The invention relates to a closure cover (30) for closing an enclosure opening (90) in an enclosure wall (85) of a safety enclosure (2) for an electrical switchgear assembly (1) having a cover part (80) which covers the enclosure opening. The invention provides for the closure cover to have a control element (35) for unlocking and locking the closure cover in the enclosure opening, and for a clamping element (40) to be connected to the control element, to which clamping element (40) a circumferential sealing ring (50) is fitted, which is matched to the contour of the enclosure opening, with the clamping element being connected to the control element such that the clamping element is drawn in the direction of the cover part (80) while the closure cover is being locked, and the seling ring is clamped between the enclosure wall (85) and the clamping element (40), sealing the closure cover.
