[origin: EP2048277A1] The dosing unit, to dispense a powder in a washing machine, has a container (20) for the powder with a stirrer (24) rotating around a vertical axis (38). A cylindrical chamber (27) is under the container with a wheel (28) structured with compartments (30), divided by walls (29), rotating around a vertical axis (31) under the base (32) of the container. The chamber has an opening (33) in the container base to be filled with powder and an outflow opening (34) in its base for the powder feed to the machine. The compartment wheel is coupled to the rotating stirrer axis.
