[origin: WO2008011740A1] In a method for the production of packaging bags (30) made of plastic film a section of the packaging bag disposed on one end of the packaging bag (30) is folded upwards along a laterally extending folding line (22) as the folding section (21), and glued to the packaging bag (30). Before it is folded, an adhesive is applied to at least one of the two surfaces to be glued. A hot glue is used as the adhesive. According to the invention, the adhesive is applied approximately simultaneously in the form of a plurality of adhesive sections (25,..,29, 125).
