[origin: WO2008014954A1] In a device for tensioning at least one awning, a fastening device for fastening a section of the awning (2) has at least one support (4) which is composed of a tube made from fiber-composite material and which can be inserted in a detachable fashion into a bore (7) in a subsurface (6), and means (38) for detachably locking the support (4) in the bore (7) in the subsurface (6) and/or at least one first fitting (8), which can be mounted so as to be stationary, with a cavity (46) and with a keyhole-shaped opening (44) which communicates with the cavity (46), and a second fitting (16), which can be fastened to a section of the awning, with a rod-shaped section and a head (42) which is formed at the free end of the rod-shaped section and is wider than the rod-shaped section, by means of which head (42) the second fitting (16) can be hooked into the keyhole-shaped opening (44) of the first fitting (8).
