[origin: DE102006035209A1] The rib has a bending edge (10) exhibiting inclined or easily bent wave flanks (1), which are arranged between two flat pipes in a heat exchanger network, where the wave flanks are equipped with sections (5). The bending edge is formed in such a manner that an adjusted resilience is reduced during bending. Wave crests (2) and/or wave troughs (3) are made soft, so that the crests and troughs are drawn back during formation of the heat exchanger network.
