[origin: WO2008017430A1] A method for producing an image matrix (1) comprises the steps of providing a network having a quantity of link starting nodes (2) and a quantity of link destination nodes (3) with intervening links (4), forming a matrix (5) having rows and columns, wherein the link starting nodes are assigned to the rows and the link destination nodes are assigned to the columns, or vice versa, and positioning visual representations (6) of the link starting nodes (2) or of the link destination nodes (3) in place of the links in the matrix, thus resulting in the image matrix (1).
