The method involves ordering a print product by using an ordering system, where the print product is defined based on a manuscript provided in a portable document format. The print product is printed corresponding to the manuscript. An identification character of a compiler of the manuscript is read from the manuscript by the ordering system, where the identification character is provided in a combination of American standard code for Information Interchange-(ASCII) characters. An instruction for manufacturing the print product is assigned to the manuscript. An independent claim is also included for an ordering system for a print product.

Offenbart ist zum Einen ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Druckprodukts, wobei das Druckprodukt anhand einer Druckvorlage definiert, mittels eines Bestellsystems für Druckprodukte bestellt und entsprechend der Druckvorlage gedruckt wird und zum Andern ein Bestellsystem für Druckprodukte mit einem Definitionsmodul, mittels dessen ein Druckprodukt anhand einer Druckvorlage definierbar ist und mit einem Übermittlungsmodul, mittels dessen eine Bestellung des Druckprodukts an einen Anbieter der Druckprodukte übermittelbar ist. Um bei Bestellung des Druckprodukts über ein Bestellsystem im Internet die Bestimmung eines Erstellers der Druckvorlage als Provisionsempfänger zu ermöglichen wird vorgeschlagen, dass im Rahmen einen erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens von dem Bestellsystem zunächst aus der Druckvorlage ein Identifikationsmerkmal eines Erstellers der Druckvorlage gelesen und ein Auftrag zum Herstellen des Druckprodukts dem Ersteller zugeordnet wird und dass ein erfindungsgemäßes Bestellsystem ein Identifikationsmodul aufweist, mittels dessen ein Ersteller der Druckvorlage identifizierbar ist, sowie ein Zuordnungsmodul, mittels dessen die Bestellung dem Ersteller zuordenbar ist.
