Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008020144A2] Fixation device for mounting on a sliding board, including a main body (2) with a support base (3) for a sole, two side ledges and an assembly (7) for securing a footwear to the main body (2), comprising a protection member (8) and first and second means for securing the same (8) on the first and second ledges (4, 5). The first means include front (9) and rear (10) teethed straps. The proximal end (10d) of at least one strap is pivotally mounted on the first ledge (4). The distal ends (9a, 10a) co-operate with front (11) and rear (12) locking systems attached to the protection member (8) for adjusting the length of said straps (9, 10). The second ledge (5) is provided with front (13) and rear (14) attachment systems. The second securing means include a fixation handle (15) with two holes (16, 17) in which the attachment systems engage, and a closing system (18) through which the handle (15) is connected to the protection member (8).
