[origin: WO2008019657A2] The invention relates to an arrangement for optimising the running clearance for axial type turbomachines by controlling or regulating the inner diameter, that corresponds to the running clearance, of at least one stator structure surrounding a rotor blade ring. Said stator structure comprises one closed inner ring, one outer ring that is arranged at a concentric and radial distance in relation to said inner ring, and several links that are inclined in relation to the radial direction in the direction of the periphery, integrally connecting the inner ring to the outer ring. Said arrangement comprises an adjusting device for rotating the inner ring in relation to the outer ring by elastically modifying the inner diameter that corresponds to the running clearance.
