Abstract (en)
The household appliance has a liquid distribution device for adjusting the distribution of liquid within the household appliance. A detection device is provided for detecting a dependent condition of the liquid from the distribution of liquid. The detection device has a liquid level sensor arranged on the suction side of a circulation pump (6). The liquid level sensor measures the liquid level of a container at the ground area. The detection device has two flow sensors (30,32) for liquid flow. An independent claim is included for a method for detecting the function of an adjustable liquid distribution device.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Haushaltsgerät, insbesondere eine Geschirrspülmaschine, mit einer einstellbaren Flüssigkeitsverteilungseinrichtung (8) zum Einstellen der Flüssigkeitsverteilung innerhalb des Haushaltsgerätes. Erfindungsgemäß wird eine Erfassungseinrichtung (21; 30, 32) vorgesehen, mit der der Zustand der Flüssigkeit, der von der Stellung (I, II, III) der Flüssigkeitsverteilung abhängt, erfaßbar ist. Damit wird es ermöglicht, die momentane Verteilung der Flüssigkeit innerhalb des Haushaltsgerätes mit der gewünschten Verteilung zu vergleichen und so eine Fehlfunktion der Flüssigkeitsverteilungseinrichtung (8) zu erkennen. In vorteilhaften Ausgestaltungen werden hierzu das Flüssigkeitsniveau, die Flüssigkeitsströmung oder der Druck der Flüssigkeit erfaßt.
