[origin: EP2052789A2] Wear-protection layer for frictionally stressed component or in oscillation-superimposed impact load, comprises a metal layer, preferably hard chromium layer, and a polysiloxane layer, where the polysiloxane layer is applied on the metal layer. An independent claim is included for preparing the wear-protection layer comprising (a) coating the claimed component with the metal layer and (b) applying the polysiloxane layer on the metal layer.
