Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a kit of parts for constructing a fence, the kit comprising at least two support members, at least one cross rail, the cross rail including at least one aperture therethrough, fixing means to connect the rail to the support members; at least one stay dimensioned to slide through the aperture in the cross rail; and at least one unidirectional fitting adapted to connect to the cross rail at the aperture and allow the stay to pass through the aperture in a first direction but resist movement of the stay through the aperture in a second direction. The invention further provides a fence constructed from the kit of parts and a method of constructing a fence from the kit of parts.
