[origin: WO2008022870A1] The present invention relates to a combined display and detection structure to be lighted from a back surface by a light source (25). The structure comprises a support layer (31) defining the back surface and made of a rigid and translucent material, a sensitive layer (33) of detection sensors provided on the support layer and comprising opaque sensitive portions (35) regularly distributed as well as inactive portions (37) transparent to light and provided between the sensitive portions (33), and a protecting coating (39) of the sensor layer comprising at least one portion that is transparent to light and has the shape of a symbol (49) such as a pictogram or a writing appearing as a display when the structure is lighted by the light (25) source from its back surface.
