[origin: WO2008022891A1] A connection module (1, 1a, 1b, 1c) has an encapsulating housing (2, 2a). The encapsulating housing (2, 2a) is provided with a first and a second connecting flange (5, 6), wherein an electrical line can be inserted into the interior of the encapsulating housing (2, 2a) via the first connecting flange (5). The second connecting flange (6) is used for connecting the encapsulating housing (2, 2a) to an electrical switching device. The encapsulating housing (2, 2a) has a projecting shoulder (17) on an encapsulating housing inner wall. A measurement transducer (20) is supported on the projecting shoulder (17). Furthermore, the projecting shoulder (17) is used for supporting an insulator arrangement (15).
