Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1883257A1] The method involves connecting a mobile equipment (9) i.e. mobile telephone, to a synchronization markup language (SyncML) synchronization client (16), where the client is in the form of personal computer. A SyncML synchronization server (14) of a smart card (12) i.e. universal integrated circuit card, is associated with the client. The card is associated with the equipment. The client is enabled to transmit a synchronization request to the server. The server is enabled to synchronize personal data e.g. contact data, between the card and the equipment. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a smart card comprising a microprocessor (2) an assembly comprising a mobile equipment and a smart card.
